Hi! My name is Heather, and I’ve traveled a long way to get to where I am.

Beginning with my time in academia as a Graduate Student Instructor and full Adjunct Professor of Anthropology, then moving to the private sector and now government contracting, I have 15 years of experience in the Learning and Development field, with certifications from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in Creating Leadership Development Programs and Managing Learning Programs. As a certified facilitator of the LEGO® Serious Play® method and materials, I also design and deliver interactive and collaborative in-person workshops that foster team building, problem solving, and strategic thinking.
I apply my background in anthropology with my passion and expertise in adult learning methods, leadership development, instructional/learning experience design, and facilitation to create and implement innovative and engaging training programs for employees across various departments and at all levels of an organization. My experience with Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) frameworks, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and continuous improvement, ensure that the training and employee development programs I create and implement are effective, adaptable, and sustainable.
I also leverage my background and interest in Anthropology to understand and address the diverse needs, perspectives, and challenges of business organizations and their stakeholders, using holistic and creative approaches to improve employee engagement, performance, and retention. I am always eager to learn new skills and tools that can enhance my professional development and help me achieve my goals.
